EAA collects the following data: phone number, name, email (optional), country of residence, activity history, trust score, and platform participation. This data is necessary for the service to function.
Your data is used to: manage your account and participation, calculate your trust score through AI, place you in appropriate groups, prevent fraud, and send you notifications and reminders.
EAA uses AI (OpenAI GPT-4o) for: trust score evaluation, automatic group placement, fraud detection, progression recommendations, and the support chatbot. AI does not make critical decisions without human validation for high-value transactions.
Data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. OTP passwords are ephemeral and never retained. We apply industry-standard security measures including payment idempotency, anti-fraud assessment, and rate limiting.
EAA never sells your personal data. Your information may be shared with: service providers (Hubtel, NOWPayments) for transaction processing, or competent authorities where required by law.
You have the right to: access your personal data, request correction of your data, request deletion of your account, export your activity history, and object to the processing of your data.
EAA uses technical cookies necessary for operation (authentication, language and theme preferences). With your consent only, EAA also uses Microsoft Clarity for audience measurement, heatmaps and anonymized session recordings to improve the user experience. Sensitive data (passwords, OTP/PIN codes, KYC information, balances, payment details, crypto wallet addresses) is automatically masked and never recorded. You can accept or decline these analytics cookies at any time via the consent banner or your preferences (Profile → Cookie preferences), with no impact on the service.
Account data is retained as long as the account is active. Activity history is retained for 5 years in accordance with legal obligations. Upon account deletion, data is anonymized within 30 days.
